Abigail Guanlao Billones, Program Director for Philippines Educational Theater Association (PETA)’s Lingap Sining Project, shared how Philippines Educational Theater Association (PETA) uses Expressive Arts in processing trauma experiences among survivors of disasters and how theatre is used to contribute and be responsive to the challenges of the new normal brought about by climate change. She presented papers to inform and educate community partners on disaster risk reduction in the aim to build safe and resilient schools & communities. She was one of the presenters during SDEA Theatre Arts Conference 2015 at The Arts House, Singapore.
