Asia-Pacific Drama Education Conference 2014 in Hong Kong

APDEC 2014 in Hong Kong from 2 - 3 May 2014

SDEA was invited to Asia-Pacific Drama Education Conference 2014 co-organised by UNESCO-RLCCE and IDEA for a two-day event from 2 to 3 May 2014.  SDEA President Peggy Ferroa and Vice-President Elvira Holmberg had the opportunity to share their current preoccupations, exchange ideas and discuss key issues in drama education. During the conference, they met with leading drama educators, Prof. John O' Toole from Australia, Dr Shifra Schonmann from Israel, and members from SDEA's sister organisation, TEFO (Hong Kong Drama/Theatre Education Forum).  They also learned more about the UNECO's role in the arts.
