SDEA's Mother Tongue Language drama workshop is back by popular demand!

In this 3-hour session, participants will learn a variety of Drama strategies particularly for the teaching and learning of the Malay Language. Through this workshop, Malay Language teachers will develop an understanding of how Drama can extend and deepen the learning of language skills while increasing student engagement and achieving educational goals. Specially designed for Malay Language teachers, this hands-on workshop aims to inspire teachers to actively adapt and employ tools of Drama in their lessons.

Selama sesi 3 jam ini, para peserta akan diperkenalkan dengan pelbagai aktiviti-aktiviti Drama yang boleh membantu dalam pengajaran dan pembelajaran Bahasa Melayu. Para peserta juga dapat memahami bagaimana penggunaan seni Drama dapat memperkuatkan kemahiran berbahasa, meningkatkan penglibatan pelajar dan mencapai matlamat pendidikan.

Kursus amali ini direka khas untuk guru-guru Bahasa Ibunda dan bertujuan untuk memberi inspirasi kepada para guru untuk terus menggunakan pendekatan drama dalam aktiviti pengajaran mereka.

About The Facilitator

Ghazali Muzakir has more than 10 years experience as a Drama Educator and has been a Theatre Practitioner since 2005 in various roles (actor, writer, designer, director, producer, facilitator of Theater of the Oppressed, Playback Theatre practitioner and a certified Medical Clown). His passion for learning, combined with his child-like wonderment has allowed him to approach his practice and pedagogy with interdisciplinary methodologies.
