Swopshop: Primal

On 19 September 2015, 18 participants were treated to a boundary breaking and invigorating Swopshop led by Singaporean theatre actor and founder of Pink Gajah Theatre - Sharda Harrison. In the two hour session, Sharda took participants through Asian and Western training methodologies to create energy that translates into a ‘primal’ presence on stage. The workshop also explored ways to use the body as a starting point into the world of text, images, sounds and shapes through the text ‘untitled cow number one’ written by Haresh Sharma. The workshop was seen as accessible, allowing participants of all abilities to explore their bodies as a performance tool. Click to access the Publicity Emailer.
